About Dream Delivery

Dream started with a frustration over the unfair conditions that delivery couriers and restaurants face on the dominant platforms. Couriers receive poor wages and often have no rights. At the same time, restaurants have to pay enormous commissions without getting much in return. We are rethinking food delivery from the ground up by sending the profit and influence back to the people who make and deliver the food. Say goodbye to the middlemen from big tech—now take control!

A Democratic Company

Dream Delivery is a democratic company — also known as a cooperative or a co-op. Cooperatives share the common trait of being owned collectively by a broad group of people who benefit from the business. Decisions are made democratically, with each owner having one vote.


At Dream Delivery, it is the restaurants that collectively own the business. Couriers also have direct influence through board positions. We believe this is fair, as it is the couriers and restaurants who make and deliver the food.

The General Assembly

The General Assembly is Dream Delivery's highest authority, where important decisions such as amendments to the articles of association, profit management, deposits, and contribution rates are determined. It is also the General Assembly that elects the company's chairman and representatives to the board among the co-owners.

The Cooperative Movement

We are just one among many cooperatives in Denmark. Most people are unaware, but in fact, some of the country's largest companies are democratically owned. The cooperative movement in Denmark has had a significant impact on our society, and at Dream Delivery, we believe that Denmark and the world need even more democratic companies. Just think about it for a moment. Why do we, as a society, value having a political democracy, while every day we work in companies where we have no real influence? Ordinary people deserve more influence over their lives — including their workplaces! That's what we dream of at Dream Delivery.
